The Dancer's Cobbler since 1887

In 1887, Italian immigrant Salvatore Capezio opened a small cobbler shop across from the Metropolitan Opera in New York. He started by repairing shoes for opera dancers, but his craftsmanship was so outstanding that he soon began making their shoes himself. Legendary ballerina Anna Pavlova wore Capezio during her world tours. Today they supply the American Ballet Theatre and NYC Ballet. The brand proudly carries the nickname "The Dancer's Cobbler".
