From Ballet to European Dance Specialist
My story begins like many dancers: with ballet shoes. Until my age of 10 I danced classical ballet—until a spinal condition abruptly put an end to that dream. The dance never disappeared from my system.
From my age of 16 to age of 26 I kept moving—often in clubs, purely for the pleasure. At my age of 26 I discovered ballroom dancing: a new world opened up.
In 2003 I found my true dance passion: salsa, bachata, merengue and later zouk.
How Miss-Salsa Came to Be
In 2004 I started a party calendar to connect dancers with the best events. In 2007 that grew into a webshop, because good dance shoes and clothing were difficult to find. More than 20 years later we help dancers throughout Europe—from first salsa shoes to professional competition wear.
